Photo Shoot for Clo&Ro Accessories & Plushies

At the end of August Mary and I will be having a photo shoot to show our work on our blog, Facebook, and online shops!!! (yes, plural, I’ll explain in a bit.)

My cousin, Diana, will be our photographer 😀 and you can see her work here: http://dianabellackphotography.com/

We’re excited and nervous at the same time. We’ve also been burnt up by all the researching we tried to do through http://www.sba.gov/. It’s just so overwhelming and the annoying accounting and tax paperwork is something we won’t be looking forward to. I’ve decided to get more human guidance by taking a small business class and will relay what I learn to Mary.

Now to why I said “shops” earlier. We’ve decided to open our own online shops and work as sole proprietors to make things a hell of a lot simpler on us both. We’re at tough points in our lives and aren’t exactly rolling in dough. And we also aren’t living in the same state anymore. But who knows, maybe when we make more money down the road, live in the same state again, and are in more stable situations in life, we can join up as a LLC partnership! We’ll see where fate leads us! :p

We want to thank everyone who has supported us, followed us, and was just curious about us!!! ^__^ Please, keep in touch and keep on following us through whichever medium is best for you. We’ll post up the links to our shops once we have them published and those who asked ages ago to get emailed will still be notified through email possibly before we even post on our blog. 🙂

Late Saturday Night with Egoraptor

Mary, Mike, Matt, and I waited with other avid fans in line for the Game Grumps autograph signing for those who were unable to get a picture and autograph the first session. Jon wasn’t able to attend since he was sick (get well, Jon!) We were cheered up though by Arin’s energy. Arin’s seriously a great guy. For two hours he stuck with all of us, gave fun cartoony autographs, and took lolsy photos with fans. Then right after, he attended his one hour panel that turned into a two hour panel. That’s dedication! 😀

Thanks for being awesome!

A little Journey for my Journeying Pack

This is a little belated in my posting this on here. I posted it up in thatgamecompany.com/forum but wanted to show it here too. I’ve given into the “fanny packs’… lol, I used to make fun of them in the past and avoid ever wearing one. I bought one for my Busch Gardens trip so that I don’t have to have the feeling of a flailing bag and/or purse that weighs me down over time and I won’t have to worry about my belongings as they sit in a bin or cubby while I’m on a ride (I’m a big worrier of many things.)

The one I bought is small compared to the heavy duty ones I saw at REI. It’s a plain, black Jansport pack that felt comfortable chillin on my hip or back. It was the same material as one of my ol’ school back packs that I remember drawing on. I painted my pack to put a little of my personality into it. I got one for Mary too (she’ll probably paint hers as well at some point.)

For months I’ve been in love with this game called, Journey. It’s on the PS3 and it was made by thatgamecompany. All of their games are refreshing to me. Anywho, what I had painted was one of my favorite parts in the game that I experienced when I was able to play with my best and with many others that happen to sync with my game. It’s a vast sand dune level where when I first began playing, many would be wandering in. So if one person left quickly, another would soon join right after. Nowadays, it isn’t as much as a hot spot as it was before, but I still like to remember my first “YAY!” moments in the game when someone was able to join me on a journey from that level 😀

YouTube Vlog – Learning to make Bento

Mary and I made another video for our vlog! =D In it we learned how to make a cute Bento (Japanese lunch). It was pretty fun and we had a few laughs while trying to use some of the Bento gear we had gotten. I had also made a little headband attachment much like the Mr. Sakamoto one I made that I’m wearing in the video. You can see it below as well as the final result of our Bento Odyssey, lol.
